Plasma

The plasma state of matter is a high-energy phase where atoms are ionized, meaning their electrons are stripped away, resulting in a mixture of positively charged ions and free electrons. Plasmas are similar to gases in that they have no fixed shape or volume, but they differ because they conduct electricity and are influenced by magnetic fields due to the presence of charged particles. This state of matter is typically found at extremely high temperatures, such as in stars, lightning, and certain types of flames. Plasmas are also used in technologies like neon signs and plasma TVs.
